Red face How can I get themes without using ota?

Please Login to Remove!

I dont have a data plan and am trying to download some themes to and thru bb desktop manager. they are downloaded to my computer as .jad files if that helps anyone..

you cannot load .jad files with Desktop manager.
you must find the themes in .alx and .cod files to load with Desktop manager.

You can download the .jad and the .jar files for that theme, load them to ur mem card, and try to install from there.... No guarentee itl work tho

As long as you have ALL of the the JAD, JAR, and/or COD files on your SD card, it will work. Just go into media manager, use the explore function, navigate to the JAD file on your media card, and run it (download to device) from there. Works like a charm!

I have tried doing it this way also and get a 907 something COD error. Are you familiar with this?
