My new phone doesnt have an icon for call logs, can I change that? Right now is shows in messages.

Also a big annoyance is not only that but missed calls show as messages, individually, and I need to click it to get it to disappear.

Previously it just showed as a missed call, and once I open call log it disappears, also grouped by number or address book entry.

Now if someone calls me, even from the same number, and I miss it. It shows as a message, for each missed call, and I need to click the missed call to dismiss it.

I really, really, don't like this.

green call button - menu - options - call logging - change it to none i think.

The Phone icon was removed a while back. Simply press the green call key to access your call log.

It wasnt removed, its just hidden.

The additional sms your getting with missed calls sounds like a annoying feature my provider offers. It's called 'who called' and it's supposed to text you to let you know you missed a call when your phone is off but out of the coverage area, but it happens with every call.

Once it was disabled it left me alone. Ask your carrier about it, it may be something they include for free as well.
