Arrow .411 Messages in Today Themes Ignore SMS

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded my Tmobile 8900 last night to 5.0.0.411 from the standard 4.6 (or 4.7, I can't remember) firmware originally installed on the phone. On the old firmware, I used a Today theme that displayed three calendars and three messages, but when I upgraded, new SMS messages were not coming up under "Messages" on the Home screen even though I had a new message indicator. Clicking on the "Messages" link brought me to my combined (SMS and email) inbox where I could view the new text. However, this problem was only for SMS as emails were still being displayed properly on the Home screen.

I came on this forum afterwards and downloaded several other Today themes, but all have the same problem: new SMS were not being displayed on the Home screen, while new emails had no problem.

Any help? Would an upgrade to the newest firmware fix this problem?

Thanks in advance!
