I have upgraded my Blackberry 8900 to 9780. I am really pleased with the phone itself but now I want to use Opera Mini 5.1 as I did on the Curve but it wont work properly. And I cant find any themes either. I am pretty fed up as I liked the 8900 and my new phone is supposed to be an upgrade!!!! Please please help to give me any advice at all.

Kinda hard to diagnose with information provided.

From what I read, RIM hasn't released the theme builder software for OS 6 devices other than the 9800.

With the Bold, there's an upgraded operating system, (OS 6) that comes with a new and better browser than the one that comes with the Curve. You might find that you don't need Opera for a browser anymore. As far as themes go, OS 6 is so new that the developers are just now getting started making themes. Patience will be rewarded!

Thanks for that. I use my Opera Mini because it saves usernames and login passwords automatically where as I need to copy and paste these off my Password Manager at the moment. And also I have 3G on my phone and when I went out I lost the 3G connection. I never had these problems on my 8900!!

No, they won't. The 9800 has a touchscreen UI and the screen size/resolution is different.

Ok. Well I will stick with it and hope the themes will get sorted. One more question......If I am accessing the internet and usually have 3G but it loses its signal is the 9780 still good for the web with just the 2G instead. Sorry if it sounds a daft question. I just love how quick the web is on this phone and hope its not all because of the 3G.

You will still get data over 2G.
