Default Deleting Themes

Please Login to Remove!

New to the forum and have a 7100g that I have customized iwith the latest OS and the Zen theme. I am down to about 7.5 meg on space and would like to keep just the Zen theme and delete the rest (about 10). None of the themes appear in application loader. Any way to delete these and gain some space? Thanks.

You could use JavaLoader to remove the themes that you didn't want through the PC. Just do a quick search for JavaLoader and you should find what you need.

Tried deleting with Javaloader, but I get a message stating that "module in use" and then it goes right back to the command prompt and doesn't delete the theme.

I agree I think you started by selecting the one that you were using at the mment you tried to delete.

Choose a different one and try again.

Depending on how you loaded them. If they are carrier themes loaded with the modified BlackBerry.alx file, then follow the following instructions to update your BlackBerry.alx.

Zen theme for 7100 handhelds - Download Here!

If you downloaded them over-the-air from RIM (such as Smoothie) or from someone on here, then they should appear in Settings > Advanced Options > Applications.

To remove a module that is in use with Javaloader, use the following command:

javaloader -u erase -f <module name>

The -f will flag it to remove an in-use module. If the theme is in-use though, you will likely have a black/white theme once your phone reboots and comes back online.
