Default Theme Changing

Seems like an easy one, but it is ultimately proving frustrating.

I like switching among the themes that are available: default, small icons, O2, Vodafone, etc. The problem is the theme doesn't keep the little 'tweaks' I apply once it is enabled- like font and size. Is there a way to keep those settings saved in that theme so that switching among the themes will be a snap?

same here, i find it takes a while for the theme to be smooth, at load time it kinda lags. Anyone have similar problems

yeah, after a minute or so of using the UI, it becomes smooth, but right after switching it drops key presses and is slow....
