When I'm in any other theme and I access my messages, I have my email and SMS messages combined in one screen. I really like that. One stop shop.

In the Zen theme, it seems that I have to have 2 separate icons, one for emails and one for SMS. I rather not use two different icons since you can only have 5 icons as it is on the homepage.

Is that right? Am I missing something?

Thats just how zen and vodaphone-today are. The only way round is to setup a shortcut so once your in messages it'l show all or to use a different theme like dimension-today which has the messages combined, but fixed screen display.

One (perhaps small) limitation to this approach. Assuming that you then hide the SMS inbox icon on the Zen homescreen, you won't have any homescreen notification icon for new SMS mesages (unlike other themes). But you will still have the flashing red light for about 15 minutes.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I find it sad not to have a choice of combining or not combining your messages in the Zen theme, because otherwise I love it.
