ZEN Theme ZEN Theme Error No SMS or Email Msgs Icon appear on Homescreen....my messages icon does not appear on myhomescreen when i have uncheked emails on my inbox..? anyone else have this problem with there ZEN THeme i am using Telstra and have installed the today screens but not currently using it...

Sorry, this is a bit too vague to be sure what your problem is. There are no tiny notification icons for Email and SMS in Zen (unlike other themes). Instead, you get a number beside the large icons on the right side of your screen. If you're running Telstra that should always work (assuming that you have the Messages and SMS large icons on your homescreen, i.e. in the top five choices on the apllications menu.)

THanks for your response..... im sorry if i was a bit vague...i meant there are no Icons like the envelope that appears on the top on regular themes but i will try that workaround you mentioned to add messages & sms to the home icons..too bad cause both those have built in shortcuts so ill loose 2 usefull icons that i normally put on the homescreen since there 3rd party apps without shortcuts..


For some unknown reason to me my account on bbforums is not working i have not even posted anything in a bit since i was out the country for 2 weeks but my account will not work..
i have contacted the page administrator many times with no answer i will log in but once i am inside i cannot surf or post nor am i able to do anythign at all in the forum...

SO i had to open another account since the admin has not made any attempt to fix this issue or even respond..

Yeah I noticed this too with the lack of a small messages icon but I kept my Messages app icon as the first item so I can see the number. The only thing that REALLY annoys me about Zen is that there's no little icon for showing voicemails either -- I have to enter the Messages or Phone screen to see if there are any voicemails.

Are you sure? On the Rogers system with Zen, I get a tiny voicemail icon at the bottom left, just a bit to the right of the Profile icon.

^ Oh, maybe it was there but I didn't see it. My wallpaper might have been making it hard to see, I'll keep an eye out for it. I wonder why they can't put it in the top semi-transparent bar, that would have actually made sense.
