Default What am I doing wrong in loading a theme to my 8700?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8700g. I downloaded the Theta Chi custom theme that was created for me in the custom theme thread. I unzipped the files, loaded the application loader from blackberry desktop manager, and selected the .alx for the theme, and tried to load it and it says "No applications for your blackberry were found".... there is also a "com_plazmic_theme_reader.alx", but I have no idea what that file does, but it gives the same error.

help? Thanks

You need to have the OS for your BB loaded, it came on the CD when you got the BB. And you need to load the Plazmix Theme Reader alx the first time you load a PTB created theme.

Hope this helps.

Check Mark Rejhon's FAQ Sticky on the RIM software Forum forum for OS reload and the first few posts on this topic Create your own BlackBerry Themes for instructions on the Themes

Hope this helps.
