After editing the blackberry.alx file, how to i get the device to read the changes. Im probably wording that wrong, I've been following the directions found here http://http://blackberryforums.com/r...me-7100i.html?

neverm,ind, i just figured it out. Had to delete the vendor.xml file.

i have a new blackberry 7290 and can not use the SMS...everytime I try to send it, it ends up in messages with a big X......

this post is a little off topic, but chack with with your service provider to make sure that you have SMS enabled on your account.
