I have done the step by step instructions on loading themes several times. I have a T-mobile Pearl with the latest OS release from Cingular. ( .71 ). I have removed vendor.xml and replaced the blackberry.alx file just as directed and updated my core components. this all worked flawlessly. When i try and load the alx file, it says install in app loader, just as it should. when i go through the load the pearl resets, also as it should, and takes between 3-5 minutes to come back up. (the same as it takes when i pull the battery). I go through settings to themes and i only have the default 3 listed. I do not have all the carrier unlocked themes, nor do i have any that i have created through the theme builder on the plazmic CDK. The themes are simply not there at all. I have repeated this process to the letter 5 times now and still no dice. I have also done several battery pulls, just to make sure a full reset was done. I have loaded custom themes on my 8700 with no problems, so i am at a bit of a loss here. Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm not sure you are doing this properly. You need to simply replace your blackberry.alx file with the matching .alx file from Jibi's thread. Then open DM and run application Loader. In the list of installed software it should say "upgrade" under "core applications." Just continue with "next" or "finish" as prompted. You don't use the "add" feature to add the .alx.
The blackberry.alx file is located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8100-v4.2.0.71_P2.2.0.41.
Simply replace yours with the proper version from Jibi's thread.
Besides the *.alx file that the Theme Builder exports, are any other files needed to transfer the theme? I have tried loading just the alx file and still have gotten nothing? I can go online and download a theme, but still no dice on the app loader.
