In order to run the Plazmic studio you need the JDE, the device simulators kit, and the email and MDS services kit

Product Component
Description
All
The Plazmic Content Developer痴 Kit for BlackBerry Version 4.2.2 requires that you have the BlackBerry Java Development Environment (JDE) Version 4.2 or later, as well the BlackBerry Email and MDS Service Simulator Package installed on your computer.
Note: You must install the full BlackBerry JDE. Installing the BlackBerry JDE Component Package will not satisfy the software requirements.
If the installer does not detect a valid version of the BlackBerry JDE, it will not install the CDK.
Plazmic Theme Builder
Improvements have been made to the Plazmic Theme Builder to enable you to create themes for a wider range of devices and multiple versions of the BlackBerry Device Software. Some key improvements include:
付he availability of the Dimension Today theme as a base theme that you can customize
付he ability to customize which applications are listed on the Home screen of Dimension Zen and Dimension Today themes
病 new Applications Icons inspector, which contains the functionality used to customize the Application list hierarchy that was previously found in the Home Screen Inspector
付he ability to replace all application icons at once
浜oads Plazmic Theme Builder projects from previous releases
不upport for BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry Device Software Version 4.2.0 and later.
不upport for Microsoft Windows Vista

I really like this part:

付he availability of the Dimension Today theme as a base theme that you can customize
付he ability to customize which applications are listed on the Home screen of Dimension Zen and Dimension Today themes

I did some searching on here and on google and I was just trying to find some cool icons. I have a couple that I have found but on some of the themes that I have in my phone have some awesome icons! Also, when I bring up the different profiles (phone, silent, vibrate) where do you put those icons in the theme builder? Sorry if these questions don't make any sense but I'm just trying this for the first time and I was kinda wondering. Thanks in advance.

I had made a theme and I saved it .alx so that I can use it in my phone. Well it loads in the phone but doesn't show. What do I do? Any help would be great.

how did you export it? they give you 3 options for the os...its best to export as 4.2.0

I ran into the same problem, exporting under 4.2.2

I like the Dimension Zen theme, but I want the icons on the left-hand side of the screen, not the right. Has anyone gotten this to work?

8100 = 4.2.0
8800 = 4.2.1
8300 = 4.2.2
