Your BlackBerry® smartphone can be active on both a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and BlackBerry® Unite!xxx8482; software.
This functionality applies to the user logged in to BlackBerry Unite! software; make sure that you are logged in as the correct user. See Switching users for more information.
To activate a BlackBerry smartphone on both a BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Unite! software, complete the following steps:
Activate the BlackBerry smartphone using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Activating a BlackBerry smartphone using BlackBerry Unite! software before activating on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server will result in an IT policy error.
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer using a USB cable.
Enable mass storage mode on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Click the Device management button.
Click the Mobile First Aid tab.
Click the Activate button to activate the BlackBerry smartphone.
When the activation is complete, disconnect the BlackBerry smartphone from the computer.

| It is basically a scaled down BPS that has added features. Its a nice consumer app. This offers something that no other smartphone has, and the fact that you can run it on a device with BES is nice. | | Offline

| Is there any facility in BB Unite that synchronizes an outlook calendar with the Blackberry? I see references in the doc about posting things in the BB Unite Shared Calendar but don't see anything about getting access to the info from Outlook. Maybe an Outlook plugin? | | Offline
