Default Curve 8310 OS 4.2.2 IT Policy issue - 05-11-2008, 06:37 PM

I've been searching since friday to try and find a solution, I have a Rogers 8310(OS 4.2.2) and a Bell 8330(OS 4.3.0) I downloaded the Blackberry Unite software thru Bell's website, and added both Blackberries, and since then I've had nothing but issues because of the IT Policies, I managed to remove the IT Policies on my 8330 using JL Commander, all policies were removed, even the firewall policy. On my 8310, I used the policy.bin file and followed the directions, it removed some IT Policies, except for the firewall policy, the firewall is locked to enabled, and when I go to the Status screen and type in BUYR, it shows:

Data Usage: IT Policy Enabled
Voice Usage: IT Policy Enabled

My questions are:
1- Is there a way to get rid of these IT Policies, like I did on the 8330?
2- Is there a JL Commander version for OS 4.2.2

Thanks,

you cant just wipe and reload... unless you have 4.5 then it will always be there... 4.5 has the ability to "reset to factory" where it wipes everything! including the IT policy... 4.2.2 does not do this... so you either have to load the IT policy created by john clarke or set up Unite! to work...

just work on it... otherwise the only other option is for you to load a beta of 4.5, then reset to factory, then wipe device (so you dont have any OS) then reload 4.2.2
