I too found that after installing Unite! the bookmarks in the new Unite Browser were not allowed by IT Policy.

I could, however, enter a URL directly and get to the site.

I then tarted the Unite Browser and went to my Bookmarks. I edited each book mark - simple chose and "Edit Bookmark" and then "Accept" on the edit screen. I noted that the Browser changed in the bookmark setting to the Unite Browser.

My bookmarks now work!

I hope I am not repeating information that is already in the forum - but I could not find this anywhere.

It just seems like odd behavior but I had the same issue
