Default Unite Problems - 07-09-2008, 09:35 AM

Is anyone else having problems with BB Unite.....whenever I click on the remote icon on my bb it says that the Unite service is unavailable...Im new to the program so I don't know if maybe Im just doing something wrong.

Check Options -> Advanced Options -> Enterprise Activation

If it says xx% complete then activation isn't complete (obviously) and you'll have to wait for that before you get complete use of Unite. It can take some time in some cases.

Other than that make sure that your server can talk to the RIM Operations Centre, probably soho.na.blackberry.com (North America). Since version 1.0.1 I've found the Remote Device Management app to be very reliable, if it can't get to the server, then there is a connection problem either between the BB and Rim or Rim and the server.
