Unhappy How to uninstall Unite completely? - 08-01-2008, 11:33 AM

After I installed Unite, I met some problems and wanna uninstall it. But seems I cannot uninstall it completely. now I still cannot sync with my PC as normal.

Anyone can help? Many thanks.

Assuming you are on OS 4.3+, search for JL_CMDER and the "resettofactory" option:

After removing Unite! (or leaving a BES) the last policy installed by the server is still active. Other people have used the procedure documented here to install a "blank" policy, which seems to do the trick.

Hey, if I do a "reset to factory" job with JLCommander, but first do a backup from the desktop manager, will Unite be re-installed when I do the restore?

No, even if the Unite tools are re-installed (which if you only back up your data won't happen anyway), the important and vexing part of Unite is the Enterprise Activation. That can only happen if you plug into the USB of a Unite server, and add the device.
