Default Network Error! when browsing remote files - 10-05-2008, 12:37 AM

Whenever I go to the Download manager on my phone and then go to "browse remote files" I get a dialog box on the phone that just says "Network Error!" This was working when I first installed Unite version 1.0.1 but it stoped working at some point. I'm not sure what could have caused it. I've tried disabling firewalls and virus scan software thinking it may be interfering but it seems to have no effect. Any one else experience this, find a solution?

I reactivated after every update. I can't figure out what has caused it to stop working. I think the next thing I'll try is the completely remove unite from the device and reset the device and reinstll unite. i hate ro do that but it ha about come to that.

Try going into Options -> Security Options -> General Settings scroll down to Services, click on Unite [S...
Select Regenerate Encryption Key

I can't remember if it was a network error, but when one of my clients couldn't access the remote device control that fixed him up.

I had the same issue, and had to uninstall and then reinstall the Unite software on the BB handheld

How did you do this? Did you have to wipe the entire handheld and then reactivate? Or did you have a different process for this?
