Default 1 BBery, 2 Unite accounts - 11-09-2008, 07:49 PM

I installed unite on my pc LATE last night, all went well except that when I activated the handset, I somehow thought it didn't work (like I said this was late like 2 or 3 am) so I retried, and now i have 2 unite profiles on my Bold, showing like 97 emails from my gmail account. Is there a way to delete one of these, without wiping my handset and starting over, or is this what I have to do?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Heyyy don't speak so fast!!!
Go to

1. Options>advanced options>service books
2. delete ALL the "UNITE" service books
3. Plug your phone in and activate it using unite, and there will only be one copy of everything.

----
Reason why this happens is
When you activate using unite, it pushes service books for the new email addys, calendars and browser.
If you activate it again using the same unite profile, it will make duplicate copies of the service books, giving you 2 unite emails, 2 browsers, and 2 calendars.

So don't wipe yur phone, just erase the service books marked [unite] and active again, and yur good to go

So, are you saying this will delete all of the duplicate entries (emails and calendar events)?

Thanks for such a quick response. I'll try it. By any chance, will this also let me remove the need for required passwords that I accidentally put on?

Thanks again nah.uhh. Worked like a charm.

Yes Zenn, this Deleted both account, all email associated with them. Also deleted the multiple unite profiles in calendar, and contacts.
