Ugh my head is about to explode. I've determined that 4.3+ (that includes 4.5) allows multiple address books, thus creating a syncing nightmare when trying to sync with a Mac.

All I wanted from Unite is a security backup in case I lose or someone steals either mine, my fathers or my mothers BB. I love the remote device mgmt. But the problems it creates with my address's and calendars are too much. Is there any possible way to mod Unite to stop it from creating these entries and modding the svc books? Either I:

1) Find a better way to provide security for the BB's (unite looks like best option)

2)Downgrade to 4.2 and resync the BB to restore my contacts and calendar and just have 1 of each.

3)Start over with a scratch install of 4.5 and don't let my BB get near Unite.

Any input, at ALL?
