Smile Bold Boot Random Uncaught Exceptions - 02-24-2009, 09:05 AM

If you, like I, have been having problems with your Bold not booting cleanly after activating with Unite! similar to what is described at this posting, you should upgrade to the latest OS for the bold found in this thread.

I thought I was going out of my mind. I develop code for Blackberries on Unite, and some times when a reboot was required after installing a new version I would get the problems described at the link above, sometimes I would get the App Error 200 Reset screen. For a long time I thought my programs were at fault, and was nearly tearing my hair out.

So far I've been running the new OS for about a day without problems, which I would have expected to turn up by now. I live in hope, again.

Maybe. Anyway still going strong. Resumed my development cycle, with requisite periodic reboots (some things just can't be tested fully on the simulator). No App Error screens, no flurries of exceptions, no missing email/web apps.
