Dress code

Hey, what are we supposed to wear? Are smart jeans + T ok during the day or do you need to wear a shirt? I've been told business casual but that could mean anything these days.

Not long now, getting excited! Just hope those damned icelandic ash clouds disappear soon as if flying is still out in a week that'd be a real bummer!

You'll find people wearing most everything, but "business casual" of khakis and a polo or button down shirt always worked for me. In the evening - anything goes. Especially if it is warm (as usual) in Orlando.

Unless you go to Disney or Epcot with your friends, then shorts and t-shirt is the only thing to wear. right NJBlackberry?

Seriously, do keep in mind it can be cold in the breakout rooms during the day. I see guys in shorts during the day and I htink that can be cold during the sessions, not to mention it isn't very professional and I like to dress to remember I am representing my company during the conference.

What if the company you work for makes and distributes shorts?

<think about what to say next>

Who would go to DisneyWorld while there?

udontknowjack 04-17-2010 07:39 PM

I don't know who would go to Disney but I'm sure some people have gone before during WES. it is in Orlando after all.

NJBlackBerry 04-17-2010 08:13 PM

Well, yes, of course.

AlanM 04-19-2010 10:18 AM

I would go (and have gone) to Disney, while at WES.

Just wear it under the casual outfit.

I think I saw some of Orinoko's co-workers at the RIM party last year :)

We should pull together a BBF BBM pin trade on those attending. I need to start packing soon!

well what i think is that one should wear according to the occasion because if someone wear differently which donot suit according to the occasion than it looks very odd......so i suggest to all my friends that you should wear your dress decently for example if you are going to your office like bank than you should wear very simple n decent dress and if you are going to a wedding than you should wear some fancy type of dress......

Brilliant. And nothing to do with this thread.
