Hi
can any body help me in giving any hint, how to write an application that listen the MDS port (push) when the blackberry Simulator start up?

I *think* what you're looking for is this: http :// na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/resources/labs/listeningfordata.jsp
(note: I added spaces in the url because of the silly forum rule, no posting links until I post 10 or more forum threads)
It should give you a solid intro to push apps.

My screen on my Blackberry 8310 screen shows a battery on the screen with a line through it what does that mean. and the backlight on the screen doesn't come on; i dropped it in water and let it dry
