I was going to comment but when I got to review I get logged out. Sorry! This would be a great FAQ topic! My fingers fall off typing the same answers on this one!

We have traced some fatal errors in BB Synchronization with the Desktop manager (NOT Wireless) to entries in the Calendar.
Is anyone able to give me hints on how to identify those Calendar entries (name, special characters, whatever) that causes the synch to bomb out with an "enexpected error"?...

Many thanks.

Default Solution for DM crash. - 01-09-2009, 01:10 AM

You need to turn on advanced logging for Intellisync. Then run the sync operation which will crash again. Open up the tif.log file with notepad and look at the last entry. See this link. I had a corrupt entry in my calendar which caused the problem, after weeks of frustration this worked for me.
