The silver latch holding the battery door on my pearl fell off. Anyone know how to fix it?

I sure do, first I would contact HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß

They got me one pronto, check out the 8100 series disassembly photos

Once you have the rear cover off simply pull the old one out. On mine the center post had broken, so i used tweezers to get the little stud out, and the new one just slides in, The post in the hole in the cener and the sides kind of snap in. Be sure to keep track of the tiny sprint that comes with it. This goes around the post.

A dab of epoxy sanded down when cured.
