Default tracker ball sometimes doesn’t work - 07-20-2009, 10:37 AM

When accessing the internet browser on the BB the tracker ball sometimes doesn’t work when clicking on links – The workaround for this appears to have worked which was removing the battery and then restarting the phone.

Is there another workaround or reason for this?

Are you waiting for the page to finish loading before you're trying to click on a link?

Yes, even the search button in Google was not working. Other links also never worked with the trackerball and I had to position the mouse over the item and then press the enter key.

Removing the battery resolved this problem but I was just wondering if there is a reason for this or possibly a setting that goes astray?

Not that I know of. A battery pull fixes quirky issues like that.
