Default Can not access BT Setup on Desktop Mgr.

Please Login to Remove!

When I opened Desktop Manager and clicked on Options, Connection Settings, the BT settings were not accessible.

The notebook is running under Widows XP and has Kingston dongle pertruding from a USB port. The dongle is radiating a shinny blue color so it must be turnred on. On the desktop there is an icon labled My Bluetooth Places. I clicked on the icon and learned WIDCOM Bluetooth software v4.0.1.2400 is installed and configured to let other Bluetooth devices discover it.

Why am I unable to access the Bluetooth settings on Desktop Manager? How can I make my Blackberry Pearl 8100 discover my notebook if I can't get to the settings

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

You have to use Microsft drivers for the bluetooth setup or it won't work.the Widcom drivers won't work.

Thank you for replying to my post.

I went to Device Manager and clicked on Network Adpters, Bluetooth LAN Access Service Driver. Is this correct?

It said, Install from List. I selected Widows/system32/drivers and it said no driver found. Where do I find a Microsoft driver?
