Default Sychronising Blackberry 8700f

Please Login to Remove!

I recently bought a blackberry 8700f, but unfortunately it came without instructions or software. I have recently downloaded desktop manager, but i cannot seem to get it paired with my laptop via bluetooth, it always come up with an error. My computer is a Dell inspiron 6000. My questions are.

Do I need more software to synch my e-mails, contacts and calendar?
Can I indeed synch using bluetooth, or does it have to be by lead?
Am I missing something else, I am a private user so not going through a company server?

Grateful for any help or advice you can give.

1. Yes, you need to download Blackberry Desktop Manager.
2. I dont think you can use bluetooth to sync, at least not 8700f. You need an USB sync cable.
3. Get Blackberry Internet Service plan frm you provider.

Yes, you can sync your BlackBerry via Bluetooth, but you have to have the correct drivers installed. Rickwoo, please check out the dedicated "Bluetooth Connection" forum here on for more information on Bluetooth, and also check out the Bluetooth FAQs at Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ
