Default bluetooth option in desktop manager greyed out - 12-15-2007, 02:07 PM

i've got my BB paired via bluetooth to my pc and want to set it so they sync via bluetooth.

when i go to the desktop manager>option>connection settings it's currently set for USB. i can see enable bluetooth support but the option is greyed out.

any idea what my next move is?

Ensure that you're also connected to the desktop BT, not just paired. If connected, DM should enable BT option.

seems i just needed to reboot my pc and i have been able to click the bluetooth option, although they don't seem to have synced.

you've lost me here, how do i "Ensure that you're also connected to the desktop BT"?

still friggin about here. at some stage my pc synced with my 8100 but not the other way around so not sure why it's erratic.

does DM have to be open for this to work?

i open DM and it shows nothing connected (bottom L/H corner).

i think i've identified the issue.

i have the 'automatic synchronization' option clicked in DM but it only seems to sync when i ask it to (ie, 'synchronize now').
