Default Auto confirm connect option for BT sync? - 12-24-2007, 02:42 PM

I googled this topic and it only came up with 2 links, both without a solution. I've set up bluetooth to sync with my 8800 without problem but the desktop manager keeps asking me "Would you like the Blackberry desktop manager to connect to the blackberry device using Bluetooth(r) wireless technology?", multiple times throughout the day. Is there an option like 'auto-confirm' connection so I don't keep getting this prompt? I don't mind connecting, just don't keep asking me!!

Any solutions out there? I must be missing something if this topic hasn't been discussed more often, it's such an annoying prompt for such a convenient feature.

I'm using the latest DM 4.3, OS 4.2.1 on 8800. Thanks.

My solution was to use a program named "PTFB" ("push that freakin' button") to have the Yes button pressed automatically when the Desktop Manager asks if I want it to connect to my BlackBerry via bluetooth.

After you install PTFB and show it the button you want it to press you may want to change it's response time from the default of slow to fast and change the default delay in pressing the button from 5 seconds to 0 seconds. After you do this, PTFB will "click" on the yes button immediately after the Desktop Manager asks you if it should connect.
