hey guys my buddy got a bb 8703 from rogers and he is having a hard time with the bluetooth ?it is very picky..lol

we tried all kinds of car hansfree kits and they can't connect??

even my last one was an alpine ex-10,the best it its class and it seems the bb but disconnects write away?

he got it a while back is there a firmware update that he can do ??

Not that it exactly relates to your issue... but isn't Rogers a GSM carrier?
The 8703e is a CDMA device. Maybe you friend has an 8700?

Just want to make sure we're talking about the correct device before any recommendations for software are provided to you.
