Hi All,

Just curious, will the direct connect work with a BT headset?

Thanks.

I have the HS810 and bb7520, there is a slight delay until the BT unit turns on when clicking the direct connect but it works fine otherwise. You just dont here the direct connect beep when hitting the DC button until the 810 turns the sound on. That is anoying but tolarable. I assume it would work the same on the 850.

Not sure, it takes like a second from the time you push the direct connect till the blutooth device turns it self on. There really is no way to turn the blutooth device on first I dont think. If you hit the button on it it does a last number redail. It does not seem to be a problem if you receive DC call...the 7520 will make the beep and before you can hit the direct connect button to answer the BT device has already turned itself on. Of course this is assuming you have the boom extended and its in your ear.
