Unhappy Paring 7100v with TomTom go 700 - 07-21-2005, 09:09 AM

I'm trying to pair a 7100v with the TomTom go 700. Can anyone tell me if they have been successful in paring these two devices or if they are aware of any issues in doing so.
I’ve tried to phone TomTom about the issue but without any success – the phones are always busy . Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

John

Did a quick search; found this thread from a short time ago. Doesn't look like anyone has this working yet.

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but the 7100v pairing issue is resolved by the latest TomTom Go OS update (5.440).

My Go 700 now pairs perfectly. No phonebook download, though, but that was to be expected in the light of the lack of an OBEX profile.

I use a PDA to synchronise the phonebook and use the Go and 7100v to make and receive calls.
