Default 7100g Car Kit - 07-24-2005, 06:05 PM

I have a Nokia CK-7W that pairs just fine but gives horible feedback to the caller. I want to install a new Bluetooth car kit from whomever that will work properly. Does anyone have any first hand experience with a 7100g and a fully installed bluetooth car kit? Thanks.

I have a tellphone Blue 4000 installed and it does work with the 7100G. A couple of points: The TPB4000 cannot access the addressbook on the 7100G, you have to manually program a new address book into the TPB system. The TPB system cannot dial through the 7100G if the device is locked. You will have to get on the BES and change the security profile to allow the 7100 to make calls while locked. This is assuming that you have security enabled. I found this out the hard way after 5 of my VP's had this system installed in their personal cars. The unit wouls work great for 2mins and then quit. Pretty funny in hindsight.
