Lightbulb My Blackberry 8320 and my Bluetooth enabled PC

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I just plugged in a bluetooth USB adaptor to my Windows XP PC for the first time! But I am trying to find some cool uses of the Bluetooth / PC / Blackberry comibnation. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Other than using the crappy desktop manager to attempt to auto sync without it taking up space in the task bar and not even being intelligent enough to sync when something is changed, I got nothin'!

I remember seeing somewhere there is a software out there that will automatically lock your computer in windows when you leave your bluetooth-enabled PC with your bluetooth enabled device such as a Blackberry 8320. When you walk back towards the PC, it will automatically unlock the PC.

Anyone know about this or any other cool use for it??

Thanks in advance.

JP

I use mine for VOIP (Yahoo Messenger, Ventrillo). Class 1 adapter = I can walk outside, check mail, and still chat...

Hi JP,
I just got my Blackberry and I was able to pair the phone with the PC but it does not sync bluetooth way as I was able to do with my previos Nokia. Definitely that feature is a must when you have a business phone. Let me know if you have gotten any news to make it work.
Thanks,
JA
