Anyone had any success pairing an 8310 with the new Jaguar XKRs?

Not having any joy at the mo...

I have a new 2008 XKR and a BlackBerry 8830 with Verizon. No one could get them to pair including Jaguar and Verizon. Eventually I got a BlackBerry tech on the phone and he had me download some software to my BlackBerry and that was that, piece o' cake.

1 877 255-2377 is the phone number.

This sounds like the same problem I'm having getting an 8310 to connect via Bluetooth to the factory-fitted phone installation in my Passat. According to VW, it's because the 8310 is not RSAP (Remote Sim Access Profile) compatible - no one can tell me why such a new phone is not compatible, as RSAP is a robust secure system that has been around for a while now!

I guess I'll give the US number a call and see if I can get any sense from them.

RobertA, have you had any luck with this? I have an 8310 on Vodafone and cannot connect with a 07 VW Toureg. Any help would be most appreciated.
