Question Why on earth does BB Bluetooth just work for Headsets? - 08-04-2005, 03:01 AM

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen...I have 2 yr old SE phone that has full BT capability...why does BB limit BT use? makes no sense whatsoever

Can someone explain this?

Actually, there are Bluetooth keyboards that will work with the Bluetooth Blackberries. Please search before asking. This is definitely a question that has been asked over and over and over.

I'm sure you also see lots of SE devices in Military, GOV and large corp environments as well right? When it come to security its not ridiculous at all.

Once again, this is a myth. There are 9 bluetooth profiles on the Blackberry. The only one which RIM has written something for is the headset. The documentation is contained within the JDE for everything else BT related.

cd.

Might to be kind enough to share the name of the documentation and the source. I'd like to read up on it.

thx
