Default HELP: 8830/VISTA Bluetooth Sync'ing

Please Login to Remove!

Someone please help. I have a Dell Desktop running Vista OS. 8830 BB and a Belkin 100 m Bluetooth Adapter.

With the Belkin Software I can pair the two, but NOT Sync my Outlook. All the info I have read shows fixes for XP Sp 2. Can anyone advise how to fix for Vista. I can not beleive it can not be done.

The main problem if you do not know is the BB Desktop Mgr the Bluetooth Enable button is greyed out???

What is the fix?!Q?!

I have the same problem with my laptop running XP Professional and my Curve. Turns out that the Desktop software only syncs with the Microsoft version of Bluetooth (at least that's all I can find). My laptop had Bluetooth disabled from the company so all I can run is the HP Bluetooth (at least I haven't been able to get the Microsoft Bluetooth to run, I think it's not installed).

Look at this page for help (at least this is what I've been using). Good luck and let me know if you figure it out!
