I tried to receive a picture from another non-blackberry device however when i enabled my bluetooth and set Discoverable to Yes, my mate's mobile couldn't find me within the bluetooth signal and i was sat beside him!

I can search for people and try to connect with them however everytime i enter the passkey (usually 0000) and then they type that in and then it says at their end "Connection failed"

I'm hoping my blackberry ain't buggared already however i do know that the device software version is v4.1.0.286 so i don't know if it's because it's maybe dated software that could be causing it maybe?

Any help would be appreciated

Are you and your friends using the same pass key? This works for me and I can pair my device with other mobiles.



To receive via Bluetooth after pairing you need to go to the folder of the file type being received. I.e. for music, go to media card, music then hit the menu key and select receive via Bluetooth.

Well to let you guys know no this hasn't been resolved... yet!
