Default Pair BB 8820 to Bluetooth Plantronics 520

Please Login to Remove!

Ok Folks... Although I by no means claim to be a computer genius, I usually manage to hold my own in the world of minor IT issues becuase I know how to use 'Google' to find my own answers.

Having said that... I just started a new job. They require that we use blackberry's and I am on the road a lot. Between learning a tremendous amount of job info plus maintaining my existing client business, I simply do not have time to research how to use the darn blackberry.I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to 'pair' my new Blackberry 8820 to my new Plantronics 520without success. I continue to get the message saying that I need to enter a pass key.

I've tried '0000', '1234' and '1111'. I've tried number locking it to make sure I am not entering letters.

Can someone please tell me know to sync the darn things? I need to go to bed so that I can get up at 5am to hit the road again.

Any advice will be VERY APPRECIATED! Thanks.

Did you get a manual with the 520? It should tell how to put it in pairing mode and it should tell you what the passkey is. When the passkey prompt comes up it should automatically be in number lock.

Use this. Just pick the Blackberry Pearl from AT&T. It's the same procedure. Looks like the passkey is 0000
