Default Pearl and Kenwood

Please Login to Remove!

I got a BB Pearl 8130 thru Sprint and a Kenwood DNX8120. Problem is my BT connects and then immediately disconnects. I've toyed with just about every possible option and have run out of ideas. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Here is a temp fix from Kenwood
Hope this helps .... for a while !

BB 8130
Start BT Enabled
Pairing Complete
User Steps:
1 Initiate Pairing from the Phone-side and Select Yes to Connect from the Phone to the HU.
2 Then select "Yes" to Accept the Connection Request from the HU.
3 HF will Connect but Disconnect shortly afterwards. A2DP will remain Connected. >> (HF: Disconnected / A2DP: Connected)
4 Set HU as Trusted Device in Phone Device Properties Menu. (Phone will ignore unnecessary connection requests from HU).
5 Press the [Menu] button on the Phone and move the cursor over the [Disconnect] entry. Do Not Press/Select yet!
6 Press [Disconnect A2DP] on HU. (Connection Terminated will be displayed on Phone)
7 Immediately Press [Disconnect] On Phone. Connection Terminated will be shown twice on the Phone.
8 Prompt a BT Connection from the Phone. (Connection should establish and remain connected)

i tried the steps mikao posted and it works, but having to do this everytime i get in the car is ridiculous. i contacted kenwood, and this is what they replied:

We are aware of the issue and currently working with Parrot to resolve
the problem. I have added your contact information to our list. Once
the update is release, we will forward you the information.

This was on 8 Jun.
