I just found this line of hands-free BT kits and thought it would useful for those looking for a BT hands-free car options. I've no experience w/any of their products, but they look cool...
The EGO Cup unit - and the soon-to-be-launched EGO Cup FM (transmits stereo audio to the car's FM radio) - eat up the cigar lighter socket (only one of those in many cars) and don't pass along a USB-A for charging the phone.
And I know you guys are aware of how much the media player & Bluetooth combine to sap the battery - a little less when the handset doesn't need to be the playback amplifier, I know - but still a constant drain.
I've been seeking zero-install stereo BT2 car kits for review and asked them to send one; we'll see.
I haven't read too much on them, but didn't have any problems finding multiple vendors in town (I'm in SoCal) so they do seem to have a pretty good presence, FWIW.
