Unhappy HS850 does not work with BB7100T software 4.0.2.32 - 08-11-2005, 09:06 AM

I have a BB 7100t and installed the latest handheld software 4.0.2.32. I can pair my HS850 with the device fine. I make one call and it switches to Bluetooth. Once I hang up and try another call the headset does not pick up the bluetooth connection and the call is on the Handheld. I then need to activate the bluetooth via the menu options. Anyone else experiencing this with the latest software version?

Try setting the HS850 to being trusted. On my 7100 it's: Settings:Options:Bluetooth then select HS850 and click Device Properties

Default It is set to trusted. - 08-11-2005, 04:07 PM

I have already set it to trusted, but it does not always connect. I have ordered a new one to see if the headset is the problem. are you using 4.0.2.32?

Yes I am using the 4.0.2.32 code. I'm pairing it with a HS810. Works great except for the huge volume loss from upgrading from 3.8 code.

i used to have this 7100 and same bluetooth. connected and stayed connected for me.
used normal options and had same os as u.

but too much noise, not loud enough, and poor phone resulting in an upgrade of both items..

take em back if they are not working for you..
