Default Confused on the issue of a headset pairing with 2 phones - 06-24-2008, 10:48 PM

I bought an H12 from my Sprint rep and he told me that all do long as 2 phones used bluetooth 2.0, I could pair my H12 with my 2 different BB simultaneously. Both could be connected to the headset and if either phone rang, my blue tooth would answer the call. The only issue is if both phones rang at once. As long as 2 phone calls are not coming in at the same time, shouldn't this work?

When I have 1 BB connected to the H12, the other BB will not connect. It will only connect when the other BB is turned off and not connected. Any ideas? Or is there a headset that you know of that will do this?

Thanks a bunch!!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 3.141529)

Plantronics makes many headsets that do this. I am not certain about your model. If it is not connecting then it would seem that it can pair to both, but only one can be active at a time.

your sprint rep is wrong. the H12 is not capable of that.

it's called multipoint... i had a Jabra BT8040 that could do that. their BT5040 can also do it, as well as the Plantronics Voyager 510
