Default 8320 won't Pair with H500 Motorola bluetooth - 07-05-2008, 01:55 AM

I am unable to pair my H500 Bluetooth device to my Blackberry 8320.

I go to Option and do the add device and the 8320 is unable to find the H500.
I have Bluetooth enabled on the 8320.

I rebooted the H500. I used the H500 with my old phone Motorola RAZR.

Anyone have any insight?

Are you sure the H500 is in pairing mode? Once in pairing mode, then search for new devices from the BB.

Default Yes in Pairing mode - 07-05-2008, 10:16 AM

The BB does a search for devices and comes back with not finding anything and asks if I want to search again YES or NO.

Isn't that pairing mode?

I figured it out... I had to hold down the H500 button till the light stayed on the Bluetooth device then pair it. Passcode was 0000.....

Holding down the button until the light stays on is called "pairing mode." That's why I asked if the H500 was in pairing mode.
