Question Pearl 8110 Will Note Auto Connect - 07-05-2008, 06:50 AM

I have an 8110 from AT&T that is set up with two different headsets. It does not auto connect with either when in proximity. I have to go into bluetooth settings and reconnect when I what to use one of the headsets. My previous phones did this automatically when they "could see" one of the headsets. Am I missing something or does the BB not do this?

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

All the ones I have used connect automaticalled after pairing, setting the device as a "trusted" device in your Bluetooth settings. Click on T device in question, Menue, properties, and set it as trusted.

Depends on headset. My z9 wouldn't auto connect. I ended up going to a Motorola h12.

Question 07-05-2008, 09:32 PM

These two headsets reconnected with my previous phone (Sony/Eric... w810i) they are both Plantronics. One is a 510. I cannot figure this out. I still have to manually connect every time I come back into range. any more thoughts?
