My 8100, with which I have had a great experience so far, suddenly began doing this connection lost / connection established every 10 seconds or so, which is driving me crazy. It happend during phone calls, during other phone activities and interrupts whatever I am doing on the Pearl. I've renamed the device, and turned off the address update, after seeing that on some of the posts....but still the problem.
Any ideas?

I get this on my pearl 8100 about every 3-4 months. Only fix is the pull the battery from the BB and put it back in again.
