I was trying to get my music to play through my Bluetooth earphone but it seems I can't do it. I read on here somewhere to download a player called Xplayer (I think) and I did but still couldn't hear the music. I could hear some static through the earpiece though when I tried playing a song but that's it. Does anyone have any ideas on whether this is possible? Would be great to be able to listen to my music that way. I would prefer not to have a whole headset.

Thanks.
Linda

When the devices connect (via Bluetooth), your Blackberry should list the services available for use. If the only service available is "Handsfree" then your earpiece will not be able to play the audio from your 'berry Media Player.

I believe you need 'Stereo Audio' and/or 'A/V Remote Control' to allow your Media Player to play via Bluetooth. In addition to 'Handsfree' I have those services available for my Motorola T505 and S9.

Thanks for the info. I just got a BlueAnt Z9 and it lists Hands-Free unit and Headset for services. Same for my Jabra. Maybe I'll look return this Z9 and look for something else.

Thanks!

Since you will be purchasing a new headset, make sure when purchasing a stereo headset that it is A2DP capable.
