My wife is using a BB from work, but I'm not sure of the model (silver body, color screen, verizon, world edition, qualcomm 3g cdma, micro sd). We paired it to a new motorola H710, and all worked fine for a few weeks. Then for some unknown reason one day it stopped connecting properly. The device is there, and it attempts to connect...but the connection never completes (bt icon with arrow stays forever). I've tried removing the device in bt settings on the bb, but every time I turn the headset on again it mysteriously is found again like it's stuck in some kind of memory. I've tried pairing the headset with a different phone after removing it from the bb...cycyling power on everything, but it always pops back up on the bb. And as before, it will NOT connect completely.
The headset works fine on both of our other phones. Is there any way to COMPLETELY remove the headset from the bb so it won't auto find again until manually added back? I'm thinking this is at the core of the issue.
