Default Is there a way to generically redirect audio to bluetooth?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a bluetooth car kit (motorola), and it works fine for listening to the media player on the car speakers. However, when I use the Audible player, or my GPS program (amAze), the voice still comes out of the built-in speakers.

The strange part is that if I have both going on at the same time, for example, the media player and Audible, or the media player and amAze, then the voice will "piggy back" on the bluetooth connection and come out of the car speakers.

Is there some way to send all audio via the bluetooth connection, or does it have to be supported program-by-program?

Default Answer - Yes!

OK, I found the answer to this question in a different topic:
(hmm looks like policy prevents me from linking to another post even within the same bulletin board. oh well, look for the thread on AudibleAir Beta testing, in the 3rd party software forum)
In that thread, Grimlin provided the answer: Mobiola xPlayer. This is a freeware media player for BB. One of its nice features is that you can choose where to output the audio, including Bluetooth. Once you choose it there, it becomes the default for the device, and Audible will happily put it out on that channel.

Hope this helps other people who have problems getting audio out of their Bluetooth with various applications.
